White Salmon Vineyard is home to 20 acres of fine wine grapes. This unique vineyard is located on Underwood Mountain within the majestic, cool climate region of the Columbia Gorge AVA.
The soils were formed by volcanic activity thousands of years ago and the vineyard maintains at least three different soil types. The physical location of the vineyard lies on the eastern slope of the Cascade mountain range on the bank of the Columbia River on a rocky bench 550’ above sea level. These conditions, plus a carefully selected mix of clones, combine to provide a terroir for world-class grapes.
The vineyard is planted primarily in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with Malbec, Syrah, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc equally as hardy and healthy. Our wines reflect the meticulous care given to the vineyard and the mastery of the winemaker.
