  • This rare clone of Chardonnay is planted on a volcanic mountain on the cooler Western edge of Columbia Gorge AVA. Fresh notes of lemon and pear are grounded by savory flavors from malolactic fermentation and French oak.  We are adjusting our harvest dates and winemaking practice to achieve the most desirable balance of land, vine and wine.
  • Our Pinot Noir is a blend of Dijon clones closely planted on rocky, volcanic soil. Aged in neutral French oak, this delicate Pinot Noir expresses notes of strawberry, rose, cranberry and white pepper.
  • 2007 State Lane, Yountville Cabernet from Napa Valley is blended with a touch of Sonoma Merlot and Cabernet Franc to celebrate Faye and Peter’s first grandson’s birth. Rich, smooth flavors of black currant fruit, cassis, and cedar blend seamlessly with restrained oak and tannin.
  • Against a northeasterly volcanic wall, this Syrah gathers the reflective heat to produce classic Northern Rhône character. The balance of this relatively warm location within the eastern portion of the Columbia Gorge produces rich flavors, luscious mouth-feel with the tension of the surrounding cooler climate. Notes of red cherry blackberry and white pepper
  • These Sauvignon Blanc grapes were left on the vines in Santa Barbara County in an effort to produce a Sauterne style wine with botrytised grapes. The botrytis, also known as noble rot, causes the grapes to shrivel, concentrating the sugars to create a very sweet and luscious dessert wine. The vibrant acidity balances the sweet flavors of apricot, marmalade and honey. Produced and bottled by White Salmon Vineyard.
